Enjoying a night of catching up on my favourite soap operas on itv player ! As tomorrow cracking on with the end of my assignment !

iPhone 5 and SIRI

Today I gave been having fun with my new iphone 5 ! Discovered that there is so much that this technology can do. You can even talk to SIRI to type out a message ( that of course when she can understand me ) I have had many fun hours trying to get Siri to do what I ask. Sometimes I think it's easier to type or talk myself. But hey I'm having fun trying !!!

Kids journal app

Kristos my son came home from school this week excited to tell me about a new programme they had been using at school. We searched for it in the App Store on the iPad. It is called the  kids journal app 
It's great as Kristos now enjoys writing daily and expressing his mood .You can also take pictures and save special memories on it . He has also created a journal for myself and his dad to update regularly. It's quite amusing. I have put the link on for you to have a look at.

Journey made easier.

As we landed back in gatwick after a 3 hour flight it was a great to get off the plane and put our tired heads on a hotel pillow for the night. However in the morning we once again had the long drive back from gatwick to fulfill. This was made much more pleasant by having films on the iPad for my little boy Kristos to watch. So instead of the repeated phrase "are we nearly there yet " every 5 minutes the journey was quite a pleasant one . Listening to him laughing and singing along to his favourite films . #happydays .

Skype from albania

I love how we can go to Albania on holidays  to stay with my in-laws and still get in touch with my family via Skype. It's so much easier with the use of this wonderful technology ! Whilst I am stuck indoors with rain ( highly unusual for thus time of year in Albania ) wales is apparently having wonderful sunshine!!! Maybe I would be better off without using the technology of the ipad to give me updates of the fab weather back home.... But hey I'm enjoying the fabulous Greek food and many expresses daily without the chores of home .

Promethean Boards Fun

Yesterday I had the opportunity during a German lesson to use the schools Promethean board. It was a lot of fun. I put up some quizzes and crosswords for the children to try and also had a little fun myself in trying out all the different icons. Losing the screan and then searching where it had gone seemed to be a regular occurance during the hour for me. But it was good practice.















 However I have come to the understanding that to fully learn how to use these amazing boards I would need a lot longer than an hours training and an hours playing on the boards. When speaking to the teacher she too felt that even though she uses the board daily she does not use all the resources that are available to her on the board as she has no time!!!

I have recently been thinking how brilliant whats app is for us ladies when we are finding it difficult to choose an outfit to go out, unsure on what to buy or just an opinion on how you look. !

Well deserved Night out !!

Hi bloggers , Only 2 months left until we finish our 2nd Year !! How time flies!!!! So who fancies a night out on the town!!! Blog me your ideas and suggestions of what to do and where to go. Possibly June time ?We deserve it ladies and Gents we have all worked so hard.

Does anyone shop in home bargains ?

Does anyone shop in home bargains ? Well I was amazed today to pick up a teenage mutant ninja turtle Easter egg ( with toy) for only £2 . When I had seen it in debenhams on Saturday (exactly the same one ) for £5 !!!! I just had to get it and then treated myself to some chocs too for the differences that I had saved :) happy days :)

Oven and out

Well after 12 wonderful years my fabulous neff oven has had its final days :( . It's cooked it's way through numerous cakes, dinners, puddings ect.... And now it's time for a new one. After searching all the sites on the internet ( and there are many !) we finally went to leekes where they price matched for us :)) so I'm now looking forward to welcome the arrival of my new oven to get baking again !
